Leong Hup invests in farm-to-plate business model
Malaysia-based Leong Hup International has identified its ‘Farm-to-Plate’ business model as a key growth pillar for the Group. The company has stepped up investments into the downstream business in Malaysia and Indonesia. In Malaysia, its convenience-driven, hybrid QSR cum bakery, the Baker’s Cottage, is popular among budget-conscious consumers. With 95 outlets at the start of 2021, the Leong Hup Group is aiming for 160 outlets throughout West Malaysia by year’s end.
