Wok Fried Diced U.S. Turkey with Mixed Bell Peppers and Chestnut

Serves 3

INGREDIENTS

160g turkey boneless meat, remove skin
5g canola oil
30g red pepper, cubed
30g green pepper, cubed
30g yellow pepper, cubed
15g white onion, cubed
25g Chinese chive, cut into 3cm-long sections
10g garlic, sliced
5g ginger, slice thinly
60g chestnut, cooked

SAUCE (MIX WELL)

15g light soya sauce
½ tsp cornstarch
5g sesame oil
5g Chinese cooking wine (hua diao jiu)
1 tbsp water
½ tsp sugar

METHOD

  1. Dice turkey meat into 2cm cubes.
  2. In a pan, heat up canola oil over medium high heat. Add turkey cubes and fry for 2-3 mins until brown and fragrant.
  3. Add all peppers, onion, Chinese chive, garlic and ginger. Stir-fry until brown. Add chestnuts and toss briefly.
  4. Add Sauce and stir evenly. Serve.
