Black Pepper Honey U.S. Duck

Serves 3-5

Ingredients:

2 pcs of U.S. Duck Breast Fillet
3 tbsp of Corn Flour to coat U.S. Duck Breast Fillet
2 tbsp of Oil

Ingredients for Marinade:

2 tsp of Oyster Sauce
2 stalks of Spring Onion (mashed)
3 slices of Ginger (mashed)
1 tsp of Sugar
1 tsp of Chinese cooking wine (optional for aroma)
1 tsp of Corn Flour
1 egg

Ingredients for Seasoning:

2 tbsp of Black Pepper Sauce
1 tbsp of Honey
1 tsp of Corn Flour for thickening
2 tbsp of Water

 

Preparation Method:
Wash duck breast fillet and cut into slices.  Apply marinade and leave to season for approximately 20 minutes.  Heat 1 tbsp oil in wok, coat duck slices with corn flour and pan-fry till golden brown.  Dish up duck slices and drain.  Set aside on plate.  Heat oil in wok, add in black pepper sauce, water and honey to boil.  Add in thickening.

To Serve:  Arrange duck slices on plate, pour black pepper honey sauce over and serve.
