In conjunction with the Food and Hotel Vietnam Show, the Vietnam Culinary Challenge was held from April 25-27, 2017. The Culinary Challenge covered 12 classes and one team competition. Some of the classes included Vietnamese culinary display, hot cooking poultry, U.S. beef, potato Dish, pasta cooking, fish and/or seafood. USAPEEC was the main sponsor for the poultry cooking section.
The Culinary Challenge, organized by the Saigon Professional Chefs Guild, was judged by a distinguished panel of international chefs. The competition enabled local chefs from reputable restaurants and hotels to display their culinary skills by competing in a three-day cook-off for the highly sought after title as Grand Champions.
