During September 16 to 30, The Sapling, SHATEC’s training restaurant located at the Enabling Village complex, carried out a U.S. poultry promotion featuring the winning recipe from the culinary students’ competition.
USAPEEC and SHATEC collaborated on the development of poultry course in the regular curriculum for the hotel school’s culinary students in 2018. The students’ competition marked the completion of poultry courses in the culinary curriculum. The competition gave students an opportunity to showcase their creative skills learned during the poultry courses.
The duck roulade, the winning dish from the recent culinary students’ competition, was specially highlighted in the menu and given prominence in the standing mobiles, table tent cards, and menu inserts. The special feature dish attracted considerable interest from regular diners and daily orders for this dish were registered.
