USAPEEC ASEAN

On November 13, we held a cold chain and hazard analysis critical control point (HACCP) management seminar in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, hosted by food safety specialist Rommel Sim Gerodias. Divided into five segments, the lectures were broken up with group discussions and activities to promote comprehensive learning and knowledge application.

With 48 attendees from across Cambodia’s import, export, foodservice, hospitality and retail industries, the seminar covered a full suite of topics related to food safety, logistical management, and regulatory compliance. Notably, none of the attendees had participated in a USAPEEC event before the seminar, and every one of them noted that the knowledge they acquired that day was useful and would be put to good use in their work.

Participants were highly engaged throughout the seminar and pleased with what they had learned, a testament to the format as well as Mr. Gerodias’ delivery.
