On September 12, the final round of the USAPEEC’s “Best U.S. Poultry Challenge – Season 2” cooking contest for young chefs unfolded at Furama Resort Danang. The full-day event started with a morning training session on cold chain management and the safe handling of U.S. poultry, led by Chef Norbert Ehrbar. This was followed by cooking demonstrations of four U.S. chicken dishes by our consultant chefs. In the afternoon, the cooking contest featured 12 teams from universities and colleges across the country, each having previously won top prizes in earlier USAPEEC competitions. The contestants, tasked with preparing two U.S. chicken dishes, were evaluated by a panel of four esteemed chefs, all with extensive experience in event judging.
Furthermore, on this occasion, The Indiana Soybean Alliance and The Indiana Corn Marketing Council led by Ms. Jenna Scott, presented US$4,000 to support Typhoon Yagi disaster relief efforts in Vietnam.
