USAPEEC ASEAN

After over a decade, USAPEEC returned to THAIFEX-Anuga Asia, the largest trade and consumer food show in Asia, this time joined by the American Egg Board (AEB).
Held in Bangkok, Thailand, between May 26 and May 30, USAPEEC and AEB made the most of the opportunity to showcase the best of American agriculture. From U.S. pre-cooked turkey sampling to U.S. dried egg powder demonstrations, the U.S. poultry and egg advantage was on full display to the estimated 90,000 visitors from over 130 countries and regions.

Productive discussions were had with importers, retailers, foodservice industry professionals, wholesalers, food manufacturers, government agency representatives, and culinary school faculty from across Thailand. Through these discussions, high-level business connections were forged with private sector actors.

A particular highlight of the event was the arrival of U.S. Ambassador to Thailand Sean O’Neill and USDA Trade Counselor Adam Branson, who engaged with exhibitors and visitors alike, which served to reinforce the importance of strengthening agricultural trade partnerships and promoting high-quality U.S. food products in the region.

All around, a triumphant return!
