The U.S. Poultry Young Chef Workshop and Competition was held on July 16, 2026, at the KOTO Training Centre in Bac Ninh Province. The program opened with an introduction to the U.S. Poultry & Egg Export Council (USAPEEC) and an overview of the U.S. poultry industry. Chef Doan Van Tuan then delivered a hygiene and food safety training session to an audience of 100 culinary students, followed by a live cooking demonstration featuring three recipes prepared with U.S. chicken.
Following the seminar, 14 student teams, each consisting of two members, competed in a 60-minute cooking competition. Using U.S. chicken as the featured ingredient, the teams were challenged to develop and present original dishes that showcased their culinary techniques, creativity, and understanding of the food safety and cooking principles introduced during the workshop.
