More than 250 students from the NOVA Culinary College in Vietnam attended a tailored webinar on December 7 where they learned about food safety and handling, as well as the benefits of cooking with U.S. poultry. Following the seminar, the students were invited to participate in a virtual culinary competition incorporating U.S. poultry. The top ten videos were featured online and of these, five were selected to cook onsite at the NOVA College kitchen. Through the training and practice-oriented activity, the students benefited from the opportunity to gain new knowledge and hone their culinary skills. Chef Norbert Erhbar facilitated the seminar, organized by USAPEEC with funding from the South Dakota Soybean Association.
