AllDay Supermarket, the Philippines’ fastest growing supermarket operator is taking its customer service and experiences to newer heights, introducing the country’s first fully automated supermarket grocery assistant and product promoter, “Addie the Supermarket Service Robot”.

Addie, the service robot patrols the supermarket, checking in on shoppers and guiding them to the newest items in the store. They are encouraged to interact with the robot through product pushes, audio prompts and an interactive touchscreen interface. Through a click on Addie’s screen, customers have the option to check supplementary information about the products that the robot carries at any given time. The robot can even direct shoppers to featured product displays. Addie is touted as the future of interactive product marketing, pushing awareness for new items, ongoing promotions, and other offerings from the supermarket.

AllDay Supermarket is elevating its customer experience through innovation.

The service robot is expected to improve customer service operations, by speeding up customer routine to make their shopping trips more efficient and enjoyable. This is in addition to innovative experiences at the store which is already capturing customer attention with its smart carts and self-checkout counters.

All customers have to do is to place their items on smart carts which automatically scans the information and prices.
